2010 National Wheelchair Champs – Nebraska Barons

Once again the Barons remind on Top, winning their 4th consecutive National Title. With Stars like MVP Matt Johnson, and 7 other All Tournament Players, then Nebraska Barons win the 34th National Wheelchair Softball Tournament. The Tournament with held and Sponsor by the New York Mets, and played on the old Shea Stadium.

U.S. Women Move Up Two Spots in World Ranking

The U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team has moved up two spots to second place in the FIVB World Ranking released on Aug. 30.

Softball on Wheels Outside Citi Field

The city has finally joined the big leagues—in wheelchair softball anyway. For the first time, New York City is playing host to 16 wheelchair softball teams from across the country, including teams dubbed the New York Mets and the New York Yankees in the 34th Annual National Wheelchair Softball Tournament running Aug. 19-21.
